Diving into Stellaris? Intimidated by the number of DLC available? Not sure if you even need all the DLC? Well, you don't - not right away, anyway. Stellaris has had 13 pieces of DLC added over the course of the last 5 years, and while some of them are absolutely essential DLC to enjoy Stellaris, you can definitely hold off on others, and entirely skip some. This video should be a bit of a guide to the DLC you absolutely need to buy for Stellaris (as of 2021 and the 3.1 update) if you're still not sure what to get - naturally this is all one man's opinion, and you can probably find more in the comments.
