Banoni Mwale is a youngman from Nkhotakota who grew under difficult conditions. When his dad died, his uncle took him and ensure he did some education. After finishing his O Levels and doing a course in Hospitality, he found a job with a local hotel. But his old friend based in the UK linked him up with a big hotel in Dubai where he has now worked for more than 10 years.
Working in Dubai and getting a little disposable cash, he decided to do some act of kindness for his community in NKhotakota. He started a kindergarten and was paying the trainers at the kindergarten, his initiative got international attention and he started getting more funds. He is now building a full primary school with 4 blocks built so far and 4 more to go. It will have Classes 1 to 8.
He now has set up the Banoni Mwale Foundation and says the sky for him is no longer the limit.
