I took some time off to be where I needed to be - with myself. I’m a stranger to this place, but I also feel at home. I feel the most at home in places I don’t know.
There is coldness and there is warmth. There are bright eyed children in prams, but also plenty of homeless on the streets, shivering in inclement weather. Inclement. A new word I learnt recently.
There is a lack of sunshine and shorter days spiral into a prolonged melancholy. I think about all the meaningful conversations with old and new friends. I miss all of you, already.
Nights are for remembering. Thank you for having me, London.
