March 2-3, 1963 - Dave MacDonald and Ken Miles take on the west coast's elite Corvette drivers at an SCCA sanctioned road race in the Dodger Stadium parking lot. Bondurant, Guldstrand, Reinhart, Bucknum and others were looking for some revenge following the Cobras sweeping the Corvettes a month earlier at Riverside International Raceway (Riverside was the Cobra's first-ever victory, MacDonald was race winner both days)
Dodger Stadium produced the same result as Riverside as MacDonald again won both days, Ken Miles finished 2nd again in both races. The Ford Shelby Cobra moment was off and running.
