Caveman ribeye steaks cooked by Part Time BBQ. This steaks were seasoned with a Salt/Pepper/Garlic combo seasoning then dusted with KosmosQ Cow Cover. They were grilled directly on 100% Natural B&B Oak Lump Charcoal. No grill, no grill grates, no pan, smack down meat on charcoal contact. This technique results in a fantastic crust this is full of flavor. Use only natural lump charcoal for this technique. Part Time BBQ prefers B&B Oak Lump Charcoal for this type of cooking.
We use Thermoworks Thermopen to check for temp. As mentioned we used Kosmos Q Cow Cover today for this cook. After the cook the steaks were dusted with Kosmos Q Dirty Bird Hot for another layer of flavor. You gotta give this a try.
