In this video, I walk through the steps to replace the front brake pads and rotors on a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox.
This procedure is the same for several years of the Chevy Equinox as well as the GMC Terrain.
Simple tools include 1/2" Drive socket
with 18mm and 14mm sockets
T30 Torx bit.
Brake cleaner,
high temp brake caliper lube,
penetrating fluid/WD40 should be on hand before starting the project.
This should apply to the following model years:
2001 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017
