This was a piece commissioned by Eddy 'Destiny-Smasher' Fettig for an original story project called DownRight Fierce. Inspired by Street Fighter, Scott Pilgrim, and characters like Korra (LOK) and Ryuko Matoi (KLK), DownRight Fierce is a story that takes place in two acts. Act 1 serves as the back-story for Nishiko Shimomura, a school bully and rebel who possess the power to manifest emotions and life force into physical energy. Act 2 takes place five years later and sees Nishiko as a fully realized fighter who must confront the choices that have led her down a violent path.
