Return to Workplace Release 1.2 What's New.
Since there is no proven playbook to respond to a 100-year pandemic, we continue to use the advantages of low code development tools (Power Platform) combined with an extremely agile development process to adapt rapidly to emerging market requirements.
Here’s a list of some of the new features we have shipped that customers are asking for …
* Contact tracers can quickly identify related contacts using building manifests. They can also visualize linked cases (clusters) and to isolate outbreaks within facilities.
* Case managers can now isolate active cases and temporarily remove facility access for a set period of time. Employees receive a notification in their app.
* Facility managers can track occupancy and arrivals daily to enforce social distancing capacity limits and to monitor potential congestions in entry areas like lobbies and elevators.
* Employees can register guests and create/share guest passes. This supports client meetings and also supports teachers as they bring children to onsite childcare.
* We have added QR codes for day passes and are working with an ISV on Surface Go powered kiosks that will check passes for validity, scan temps, and log building ingress.
We have created a “what’s new” section on the RTW Docs that provides updates on the new features in each release. These will also serve as our release notes.
