In the wake of claims about EVMs being hacked in 2014 general elections, made by a self-proclaimed cyber expert Syed Shuja, a series of allegations and counter allegations has started off between the main opposition party Congress and the ruling party BJP.Union minister Giriraj Singh questioned the credibility of Shuja and expressed concern that he could have Islamic State links or could also be affiliated to Pakistani intelligence.
