This is my first time, trying out and smoking

I think 2 fingers thickness is the perfect steak cut.

I love the smokey taste when I smoke it with the stovetop

Then, I sear it.
.
The way I look at it, it is in between medium and medium-well. But the "juice" mixed with the buttery taste, that is heaven.
.
Surprisingly, my kids love it. They were saying this is way better the normal steak I cooked.
.
My Steps:
1. Smoke for 6 minutes each side.
2. Sear each side for 1 minute.
.
That's simple. The total time taken including resting the meat is about 20 minutes.
.
I love preparing and cooking the steak. But what I really hate most is the cleaning up!
.
