In this inaugural episode, Jess and Sara discuss the importance of how now -- more than ever before -- we have to protect our mental health, re-examine our dreams, and use our art and creativity to be in service of others. It’s this commitment to service that really guides Sara’s incredible body of work: From her widely successful hit "Love Song,” to the smash Broadway debut, “Waitress,” to her recent partnership with Apple as an executive producer for the series “Little Voice” where she created the original music, Sara’s heart for helping others is as huge as her talent. Jess and Sara, who share a mutual commitment to the empowerment of young women, talk about how they are both learning to embrace shifting away from people pleasing and overworking to prioritizing meaningful social justice, advocacy, work, and relationships.
