Croatian General Tihomir Blaskic repeated on Wednesday (3/4) that he planned to plead "not guilty" to war crimes charges by the International War Crimes Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Blaskic, a former commander of the Bosnian Croat forces (HVO), was indicted by The Hague-based tribunal last November over the massacre of 100 Muslim civilians in April 1993 in the central Bosnian village of Ahmici. He surrended to the tribunal on Monday (1/4), and on Wednesday became the first Croatian to appear before it.
