Muscadine grapes are ready to harvest around the first week of September. Here, at Duplin Winery we know that Labor Day Weekend is the beginning of a long month of picking grapes and bringing them into our production center. As the grapes arrive from the vineyard, we crush and press the juice from each berry. Harvest season means many long days and nights. It takes between three and four weeks to harvest all of our vineyards.
