The above interview is a conversation with veteran Kenneth V. Bryant, who served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. His reflections were recorded on May 24, 2011 at the Fairhope Public Library to be included in the Veteran’s Oral History Collection. He was interviewed by Art Holder, a volunteer representing the Fairhope Public Library.
About the Collection
The Fairhope Library Veterans Oral History Collection consists of video and audio interviews recorded in 2011 and 2021. They include veterans who served in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War, and the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts as well as experiences of support personnel. Each interviewee’s personal military memories can be found on the Fairhope Library’s YouTube page.
