The special ANC NEC meeting to discuss the section 89 independent panel report on Phala Phala is expected to resume on Sunday.
The meeting was adjourned just as it began after a decision that the report should first be processed by the four top ANC officials, including President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Party president Cyril Ramaphosa did not attend because he was the subject of the discussions.
