Nidhi Surapaneni, who was one of our top juniors and contemporary of Zeel Desai, Mihika Yadav, Nandini Sharma and others - representing Uni of North Texas scored the crucial win to win her team the match 4-3 against Florida International University (FIU) in the conference championships in Houston, Texas.
As a junior, Nidhi was ranked as high as #167 and participated in the major tourneys like the Australian Open, Orange Bowl, Eddir Herr and so on. She had reached several Grade III event finals while having a doubles title in her kitty.
