One of the most frequently asked questions in the waxing world is what is the difference between soft wax vs hard wax? Well, where should we start!? First we only and HIGHLY recommend Mermaid Wax Next Generation Premium Hard Wax. I haven't use soft wax in years so I purchased soft wax from Starpil for this demo. Soft Wax adheres to the skin, not the hair. You can only go over an area one time with soft wax, otherwise the skin can tear and come off with it. Soft Wax is applied VERY thin. If you apply it too thick it will be a pain in the butt to get off. Soft Wax also requires a strip to be removed. Hard Wax adheres to the hair, not the skin. This means you can apply multiple strips over the same area and the skin is safe. Hard Wax dries on its own so it doesn't need anything to remove it.
