Bilobokabutak is the 16th work of the Metal Hero series. Bilobos fight for a "star piece" that fulfills the wishes of those who have obtained them. It has a style like a metal hero up to the previous work, and also strongly includes comedy elements such as "Ganbare !! Robocon" and the Toei Mysterious Comedy Series. The protagonists are all robots, usually three heads like a robocon, but they transform into eight superheroes during battle (super change). This route was also passed on to the next work, "Tetsuwan Detective Robot Tack", and the next work was "Ganbare !! Robocon", a remake of "Ganbare !! Robocon".
