Over the last few years we have been victims of several attacks. Some accused us of being "too Jewish" some said that we are "Christian Missionaries" with Kippa on our hands. Often I ask myself: "Why do I need all this T'zures?"
Allow me to answer my own question: There are rare moments where we can stand and give account about our Rabbi and in these rare moments a unique connection between HaShem and the house of Israel are being made as an act of cheebur. One of these moments took place this past week in Colombia when I stood in front of the respect chief Rabbi of Colombia, my dear friends at the Jewish community like Jack Goldstein and my dear partner Pastor Raul Rubio and his wife Viviana Valbuena , Rabbi Steven A. Bernstein, Pastor Lorenzo Greco and in front of all of my talmidim. These are the moments where bridges are being built in the heavens. It is R' Nachman who said that the world is like a "Narrow bridge" , and R' Yeshua said also that the path "is narrow". The bridge and chazon with the relationships between Messianic Judaism to Normative Judaism is narrow indeed, but it not blocked or beyond repair. Our entire organization Ahavat Ammi together with Yeshivat Shuvu will continue to focus on this bridge construction that will usher the return of the Messiah just as the Prophet declared: “Build up, build up, prepare the way,
remove every stumbling block out of the way of My people.” I am thanking the Lord for this special opportunity to tell our people just how much they are loved and also to serve them as the son of G-D (Israel). May G-D give us many more opportunities to testify about himself in front of the entire house of Israel not just in empty words but in actions . This is what Ahavat Ammi is about with Yeshivat Shuvu .
The bridge might would never be fully repaired, but as long as I am alive and physically able, we will continue to repair and reconcile with every Jewish person worldwide. If you believe in this message, you are also could be part of this historic repair to hasten the return of the Messiah.
