Shop time was hard to get over the last week and a half, but some progress on the shaper was made. I also get some shop mail and mention a channel for which I got stickers a few months ago.
In this video we start reassembling the gear train but as it started to go together there was more work than just putting parts together. Some screws and fasteners were missing when I got the machine so some replacements needed to be made. As well, a shaft needed polishing before installation to avoid damaging some bushings.
I don't want to make extremely long videos, but also don't want to cut out to much detail for those who are interested in the details. As such I'm not sure how many videos there will be in the series, but will try to keep them at maximum about a half hour.
